Woman of Excellence 2010

I was recently honored as the “2010 Woman of Excellence” by the Church and Community of the Upstate. It was a delicious banquet (no really!) and an inspiring ceremony at the Hilton. I received a beautiful medallion, an awesome plaque and a stunning certificate from SC House of Representatives. All three said something different but creatively expressed appreciation and recognition of my hard work, faith and dedicated  service to my community and church.

I was humbled and even embarrassed that someone would recognize me enough to present me with awards! Some of my church members came and my BFFs from out of state came too! That really made it a special night because we returned to my home where sat up to talk all night!  Wow!
