The Prosperity Game day 4

I’m still playing the Prosperity Game from Choosing Prosperity.com. As your money from the Universe increases you’re advised not to give it away or buy for others while playing The Prosperity Game.  The reasoning is that many of us have a easier time giving than receiving.  You want to energetically become comfortable receiving and spending on yourself.

I definitely was ready to give this away or save it or ANYTHING except continue on a shopping spree.

Yesterday, I realized that my universal money wasn’t increasing as it should and actually felt relieved…like, “Well, I don’t need anymore money to spend”.

However, today I wanted more money and deleted my account to start/activate it again. I’m looking forward to more even though I don’t have anything in particular to buy.

Anyho, I love this coat from Macy’s, it’s on sale for $131. I may have to take a trip to my local store….

The Prosperity Game-day 3

Okay, today was a little bit easier for me to make a purchase. I knew I didn’t have a lot of time to shop so I immediately decided that I wanted a purse. I wasn’t sure what kind so I did searched some Google images. This still took too long and I started to settle on just anything so that I could get this over with. However, I pushed myself to continue.

Man, I hate shopping.

I finally decided to spend my $100 on this cute Balenciaga Tote Claret 08433c. It’s $136 but I can afford it.

I put this on my wish list at Wishpot.com with plans to really buy this, one day soon.

The Prosperity Game was created by Abraham Hicks with the intention of helping you to choose prosperity in the virtual world (the world of your energy and imagination). This prosperity energy should carry over into the real world and attract like energy.

From what I understand the money is suppose to double everyday. This is my 3rd day playing and I’m still receiving $100. Interestingly, I’m satisfied. The thought of having to spend more money is somewhat overwhelming.

Interesting.

I’m sure the “I hate shopping” negativity is affecting my positive energy.

What do you suggest that I do to get past that thinking? Leave a comment.

The Prosperity Game-day 2

Well as suspected I didn’t get to the website to collect my money and go shopping. My time of sitting on the computer and playing around is very limited. I have just enough time to get on and handle my business. Not to mention, I’m not too fond of shopping anyway. Nevertheless, here 2 wks later, is the result of my second check.

This time around I realized that I often tell myself  “I have everything that I need” and “I don’t need to go shopping” because I DON’T like shopping.  This has lead me to buying “any ol’ thing” in a hurry. Or just avoiding the stores all together and making do with what I have.  I’ve always chalked this up to a great spiritual assessment that I’m not materialistic. And maybe that is true to some extent. But it also leaves me completely out of touch with what I like. Clothes and dressing has become more of a utilitarian experience. Whereas it use to be about expressing my unique style.  My creativity and passion of color is completely absent and I know that leaves me unbalanced in other areas! I need to go shopping just to stir up my creativity, passion and unique style again.

Here’s what I purchased with my $100 from the universe. Day 2 of the prosperity game

The Prosperity Game

I just signed up to play the Prosperity Game at Choosing Prosperity.com.  The purpose is to stir up a feeling of prosperity in your energy field. So each day  you receive a virtual check from the Universe and then go on a virtual spending spree to make purchases that will bring you the most joy.

Right away I was given $100 from “the universe”. I have to admit, seeing my name on a $100 check felt good. I figured I would buy  a couple of tops and a pair of shoes. But when I went “shopping” at Wishpot.com I found a pair of shoes that cost $89. I wrestled with the idea of spending the entire $100 on a pair of shoes. Whenever I would remind myself that I’m going to get some more of these prosperity checks, my other mind would say,  “But yeah…you can’t trust that. Suppose you don’t get back to the website.”

Interesting.

Here are my Lizza Heel Jessica Simpson, honey colored pumps!

My 1st check will go on a pair of these.

Failure is Not An Option

I  just read a blogpost by Adrianne Thompson , a career-changing, middle age, wife & mother of 4 who just spent the last 4 years in law school and is now waiting for her bar results. Just reading it caused me to hyperventilate! Reading it stirred up so many of my own emotions that it brought tears to my eyes.

In my job as “The Business Coach for Moms” I help Moms live two dreams; the dream to remain the competent, relevant, intelligent, ambitious money-making powerhouse and the dream to be  the nurturing, supportive, cookie baking, soccer mom.  The two dreams seem so antithetical.

So these moms leave safety and security to come home to children and then hire me to help them to build a business from home.

99%  have no entrepreneurial experience.

70% aren’t even in touch with their real passions.

But 100% of them know that they want to be there for their children.

100% of them know that this present day sacrifice will reap major rewards-in their relationships, money-making opportunities,  self-development, lessons learned and experienced, spiritual growth, -for the future.

Moms leave a secure income to invest money and time  learning a new trade, developing new skills and navigating unfamiliar territory all with the hope of gaining a profitable, sustainable business that will give them the flexibility they need to raise their children.

And failure is not an option.

Ironically the thing that they want most-more time with the children-is the second thing they have to sacrifice. Because building a business requires a lot of attention.

Therefore, failure is not an option.

Some pursue their business in the midst of poverty or health issues.

They all have life-distractions, house-hold responsibilities and familial naysayers  that start wearing at confidence and creating added frustrations.

My emotions were stirred as I read this post because I admire women like Adrianne. Those that are willing to invest in themselves today with expectations for tomorrow. Women who recognize that their every action is being mentally recorded and soon unconsciously mimicked by the their children. So failure is not an option.

Because when a woman determines that failure is not an option, she will never fell!

When you decide that you’re going to do all that you can do and then wait for the results;  and in the midst of waiting you can maturely handle your emotional flux;  and then you determine “if the results aren’t satisfactory I’m just going to do some more because failure isn’t an option” you are on the road to success! YOUR success IS guaranteed, because every road (every result, even the unexpected and unwanted results) will take you there.

For all of the mothers who are sacrificing in the now to have a better later, keep moving forward.  Keep the motto, “failure is not an option” on your lips. Murmur it during your doubts. Cry it in your tears. Shout it during your success. Whisper it in your children’s ears.

With so many of us murmuring,  crying, shouting and whispering  the same phase we will clear the atmosphere, we’ll generate such a success force in the land that failure will no longer exist because we’ll all be able to clearly see that  all  doors open to grand success for those hard-working, determined ones!

If you’re a hard-working determined mommy, who want to work from home and need help navigating the entrepreneur waters, I would love to be your business coach. Contact me and we’ll start you on your road to success!
