From Mom to Mompreneur

What a great interview!  Cheryl Wood talked about her journey to becoming a mom entrepreneur and it awas inspiring!

So many women live a similar life of “unconscious” parenting-that is they do what society teaches; if you have a baby you get 6weeks. After 6 weeks baby goes to daycare. Quickly drive to daycare in traffic to pick up yur baby. Feed, bathe, bed, do it again tomorrow.

But sitting in the parking lot her tears woke her up and she became focused on what she wanted for her and her children. She fearlessly pursued it and is now life a fulfilled life running her business while raising her children.

Mompreneur Inspiration for The New Year

Andrea Griggs of Females with A Mission just interviewed me on her BlogTalk Show, and we talked about the women who aren’t “feeling” the new year yet.  She asked for my tips and suggestions on how to overcome the failures of 2010.

If you would like to listen click here or copy and paste the link.

Here are some quotes that summarizes the points that I made during the interview…just because I love quotes.

You have to DECIDE to make it a new year.

“Time has no divisions to mark its passage, there is never a thunder-storm or blare of trumpets to announce the beginning of a new month or year. Even when a new century begins it is only we mortals who ring bells and fire off pistols.”  Thomas Mann

Make some decisions about what you want to happen.

“We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.” Edith Lovejoy Pierce

Decide who you are going to get rid of this year.

“New Year’s Resolution: To tolerate fools more gladly, provided this does not encourage them to take up more of my time.” James Agate

Sit still to listen to God’s voice.

“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language and next year’s words await another voice. T.S. Eliot

Faith, Your Business and God

I interviewed 13 Christian entrepreneurs who seek God for their success through alternative methods. In other words they don’t just pray and read the Bible about being holy; they use vision boards, guided meditation, EFT, energy work and other methods to find out their purpose and how to make more money! Bringing spiritual awareness into your business is common sense for some but for many others they are only aware of the dog-eat-dog world in the name of business.

Listening to these interviews will teach you how to harness the power of the Holy Spirit into your business as you glorify The Father!
