Life is Simply Beautiful, Have Fun!

As I watch my baby girl sleeping, I am in silent awe. She is so simple. So beautiful.  No lumps, no curves, no bruises, no runny mascara staining her face from last night’s escapade…

Just simple…simple beauty.

She has one conscious objective: TO HAVE FUN!

Unconsciously, it’s coded in her DNA to survive, to eat, to reproduce, to grow. Those things will happen naturally.

But the conscious objective, TO HAVE FUN, is something that she goes after with all abandonment!

she plays with her breakfast

Eating cereal in the morning turns into a milk sensation.

she loves outdoors

Going outside is like wonderland!

she loves dress up

Even putting on clothes becomes something that she delights herself in!

FUN! FUN! FUN!

I think children are here to remind us that life is really simpler than we make it out to be.  We can see this easily when our teens are freaking out over something that really amounts to nothing.  Or when our BFF is in a tizzy about something that we KNOW will work itself out.

But can you see it for yourself?

Life is simple. It’s beautiful. Have fun!

Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.
~ Confucius

What’s one thing that you can do today to have fun?

I couldn’t resist commenting; thanks for reminding me, I always forget this. Children are God’s blessing.

yes they are and it’s amazing that we live in a society that would try to quiet them or even worse make them act, dress, sing and dance like adults!
